All around them, the camp lay in darkness, tents lit by pale lanterns, ghostly outlines silhouetted against tent walls. The front flaps of all the tents were zipped shut - all of them except one. Rain drops splattered to the ground, kicking up droplets of mud.

In the faint light that had seeped through the tent materials, Nikko and Calvin stood in a silent face off. The water soaked their clothes, made the material stick to them like a second skin.( Read more... )
