The door snicked quietly shut behind him and Ricky leaned against it. He closed his eyes and ran a hand across his face, trying not to think about how tired he was. How much he ached across his shoulders, down his back, through his ass, down to the soles of his feet. All he wanted right now was to curl up on the nice soft bed that was much too far away.
He kicked off his shoes and padded across the room in the darkness. The layout of the room was simple. Bed here, dresser there, night stand with a lamp next to the bed. One, two, three, four steps and he was at the bed. He flopped back on it and closed his eyes again.
He was nearly asleep when gentle fingers slid up under his shirt and across his stomach. He opened his eyes, though that didn’t accomplish much in the dark room, but hey, it was the thought that counted, right? The hand moved lower, slipping inside the waist of his pants and Ricky grinned.
Warm breath at his ear, then a quiet voice asked, “Have you banged your drummer today?”
And Ricky chuckled because no, he had not and he knew that was about to change.
