After the second night, Justin decided he’d been inside long enough and needed fresh air. It was a risk, he knew, but it was one he was willing to take. After Lance and everyone else had gone to sleep, Justin carefully slid out of bed. Just outside the regular entrance was a ladder that climbed into the basement of an abandoned building. That wasn’t news, a lot of the surface buildings in this part of town were abandoned. Stairs with a crumbled railing hugged one wall and slowly he started to climb them. ( . . . )
