Chris had decided it was time. It had been weeks and weeks and - it was time dammit.

And now, here he sat in the hotel room. Waiting patiently. Or as patiently as he got. He thought he was doing pretty damn well, all things considered. The hotel room was barely lit by the small lamp in the corner so as not to disturb the only other occupant. His luggage sat on the floor just inside the door. He’d put it away later. The bed was rumpled, the sheets twisted and knotted around the sleeping form, and still he waited, listening to the clock on the dresser softly ticking away the seconds.
